Sorry, no pics, I fail, but anyways...
So went to my local TRU at lunch today. The place was hit hard over the weekend. Like 4 single figures left. They opened a bunch of cases of the 5-packs, have a ton of those and some of the Attack on the PIT sets. Had the same 5 Alpha vehicles they had last week. Did see a couple women grabbing Joes for XMas presents. But what caught my eye was the assortment of Bravo vehicles they had. The Crimson Hydra got my attention and I eagerly dug thru the 12 Bravo vehicles they had looking for the Dragonhawk. Nope. 4 Steel Crushers and the rest were Crimson Hydras. What?!?!? What a mess up on shelf stocking. I don't know how the Hydra and Dragonhawk shipped (seperate cases, 2 to a case, no clue). But to put up that many Hydras and nothing else? Wow... Now if the Dragonhawk and Hydra shipped in equal amounts this means: 1 - some stupid stock person didn't put the Dragonhawks up (and I was on lunch break in a busy store, didn't feel like tracking someone down, probably go back this weekend) 2 - the stock boy took all the Dragonhawks for himself. Now if Hasbro shipped them seperately, well that's just dumb cause it leads to situations like my local TRU.

I think anything with a high Ebay resale value never sees the shelf at my TRU. Those guys know when they are sitting on something hot...

Woah, that thing's rare now? I see them all the time.
You sure they didn't just sell out though?

Well at least you guys have Bravo vehicles. I went in today and saw all the sale signs, but nothing was there except for Attack on Pit sets

Possible, but I don't think they would have sold that many at my local TRU (small town) in the couple of days between my visits there.

There is at least one case assortment that includes a Dragonhawk and an Ice Dagger, so there very well may be one that includes a Crimson Hydra and a Steel Crusher.
I've finally started seeing both the Crimson Hydra and Dragonhawk every so often around here. Only ever seen one of the wave 2 Alpha vehicles though...but Mom sent the Sky Sweeper and Snarler to me for Christmas, so I'm good. Found the Wal-Mart Battle Stations today too...folks might want to check their Wal-Marts, it looked like they did a reset to make a special "Wal-Mart Exclusives" aisle in the toy section. Had just about all the exclusives that'd come out in the last couple months...with the regrettable exception of DCUC Wave 10. |

My Wal-Mart had a bunch of toys over in the side area where its normally the seasonal stuff. Saw the 2-packs there.
