I bought an F-4 JOLLY ROGER PHANTOM a few months ago, totally love it, cant wait for the JSI F-14 JR Tomcat, but what aircraft would I really like to see done in Joe-scale?
I cant decide between an F-4 Phantom (my god, how many different roles did that girl play back in her day??? I know it was about 23 or more) or an A-6 INTRUDER. Ever since watching FLIGHT OF THE INTRUDER and watching countless videos and airshows, I love this workhorse. I was also thinking of an A-4 SKYHAWK but these two really are favorites of mine. I scaled them out Joe-wise and the PHANTOM is longer (in my version) at about 25-26 inches and the INTRUDER is about 23-24 inches. Now I know that both of these aircraft would be 3 foot or more, but made with the Joes in mind, I find that I probably would tear about an F-18 Hornet just to screw with the fuselage and use the wings and whatever else I could cannibalize off of it. Now, Im just curious, what other Tankers would want to see as part of thier Joe FLIGHT LINE, be it Cobra or Joe, what would you want to see? For the sake of argument, Hasbro will not make these...yes, I know, a sadness for all of us, but given that terminal fact, what would you want to see? Be it real, fantasy, sci fi..whatever. By the by, anybody catch those big blackbird/f117 bombers from the Droid commercial, niiiiiiiiiiiiice. Last edited by SgtMajor; 11-16-2009 at 10:31 PM.. |

V-22 Osprey.
I know it would be huge but I would like to be able to transport 20 + Joes in one fell swoop.

I remember when I was a kid going down to Onslow county beach in North Caronlina, not far from Camp LeJeune, two A-4s less than a 100 feet off the deck thundering down the beach, so damn close we could see the pilots wave back. It was awesome. I couldnt hear my parents for 5 full minutes. Man I miss childhood sometimes, those memories were and are still pretty sweet. I use to watch F-4s take off somewhere nearby as well when my Pop would take us in to do some work that would only take an hour or so. I loved watching that plane so much, my brother got a small F-4 model, he half built it then went on to other things after a day or so and I scooped it up and did many a sortie to the backyard and beyond. Damn thing was totally brown, but I really loved it. Held on to it for years and then eventually lost it moving for the umpteenth time. Well, now I got a new one, the bbi JR one is great. I only fly it when the family is out of the house.:-)

definitely the osprey and, the ac-130 spectre gunship, also just a regular cargo haulin' dc-130 hercules with some awesomely uncomfortable web seats complete with loadmaster to make sure everyone sits so close to each other they're basically in the same seat, while there is still 20 empty seats in the back.
I just thought about this. Something else they have called the ec-130h compass call that jams command and control systems as well as communications. There are quite a few that do this any would be nice here is a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EC-130H_Compass_Call
