1:18 & More Info Please.

Most of you will probably read this & shake your heads, but I'm slowly getting into this stuff, I think the Hummers & Tanks look great & am looking at starting to get into some of it, but I'd like to know what means what, I mean 1:18, how big is that? Also the other numbers & sizes?

It's the scale,

You have a 100 foot building, a 1:18th scale would be an 18 foot model of the building.

Depends on the aircraft or vehicle. What are you looking for?

These are really nice. Check out my photo album. I got both APCs, both 21stCentury M2s and Unimax's M3s. Ebay is the place to look but you'll have to pay out the arse unless you're very lucky.
