I've read about M2 Bradley IFV and the Steel Badger from TRU, both tread vehicles, both with an accessible rear door hatch. What I'm wondering is this: Is there a 6 or 8 wheeled LAV/IFV/APC in production that has an accessible rear door hatch that is also reasonably priced?
If not, then has any one read about a successful mod where someone was able to make their own accessible rear door hatch DIY style? Any insight would be much appreciated. |

You are talking about The Stryker, aren't you?
I have yet to see either a toy or a mod, but damn, it would be nice.

This right here. Unimax recently released their own LAV-25 and completely dropped the ball. No troop compartment access. Last edited by Konigstiger; 09-06-2009 at 09:32 AM.. |

You could try your hand at modding and repainting the Clone Turbo Tank from Star Wars.
Might be a bit pricy sure, but I think it'd look awesome. Not entirely implausible for a vehicle in the "not too distant future." |
