Sounds like we got a somewhat hot topic here that boils down to: some like ROC stuff and some (me) like the 25th. It IS best described as 25th because that is what it started as and it implies vintage styling. Some people practically flame others for using the term, like they are stupid for calling it that. Perfect name, it doesn't matter what the math is.

Y'know, we're closer to the 30th Anniversary than we are the 25th... food for thought...

So sorry, the 25th name does not fit because it was not all 25th.

I can sum all of this up in one simple point ... I understand there are some people out there who are upset that the 25th line is gone, and I am sorry to say, it's gone for good ... the reason for this is easy to see ... Hasbro is making money hand over fist with RoC toys, why?
Simple, both collectors and kids are buying them like they are going out of style and this is what Hasbro wanted more than anything, bring the brand to a new generation of collectors guaranteeing the property keeps going. So with that said, just accept what you can't change. If you don't like RoC toys, don't buy them but stop all the bitching and moaning when someone says they like it, because you will not change our minds ... we like RoC. |

Modern era figs SUCKED. Anyone who kept the figures in their normal unaltered states can agree with me..They all had the horrible articulation. We got maybe 8 or 9(if that) exceptional figures out of the whole run!
I think as far as the toys go, Roc has the figures better put together.. |

To be honest the 25th line will come back again it may be a while but it will be back. I remember when the 25 line first came out I was dissappointed to see joes without o-rings. I came to accept the line and so did others. In time some will accept the ROC and others won't. The movie and game figure concept will pass in about a year anyway. Buy the figures that you like and then buy the figures that look close to the ones you like and make customs of the figures that you truely want. As for card art take up art at your local community college and paint your own. Some people find peace with the work they do on their own be it custom or artwork.

I loved the 25th line... I kind of like some of the RoC line, I just want to see more of the classic figures get released period. I also wanna see a M.A.S.K. 25th Ann. line!!!!
