Regarding the Original Post / Question - I think it's ironic that 'sale hunters' and 'waiters' are complaining about prices going UP instead of DOWN. You're complaining that you couldn't buy your $25 figure for $20 - but instead you had to pay $30? There is a lesson in there somewhere - if you look really hard. ;)

I'm not complaining I'm just wondering how people feel about the climate right now for sales, etc. I am definitely one for preordering Pulse exclusives and much anticipated troop builders, but I can't always keep up with Hasbro's release dates. I like to prioritize my favorites to preorder first, and then hopefully catch the last couple on a sale.

Big box stores around me are awful so I always go the online route. I do find that Target has been more difficult lately, with quicker preorder sellouts and regional inconsistencies.

Yes, I feel like I am a slave to fomo sales online. Sometimes it's worth it to obsessively track what is getting discounted, but usually I just drive myself crazy over it. I definitely understand the value in preordering, but with the huge amount of stuff coming out in the next couple of months, I try to think about what I can wait on.
