Walmart and fedex delivered (finally). Zandar is as close to a perfect figure as you can get. As stated by others, great paint amazing head sculpt and fun accessories. Highly recommended 10 out of 10.

How come Zandar never got a front-page? Zartan has had more than one to himself. Zarana has had more than one to herself. Nemesis Immortal got a front-page too, and so have many others. Why not Zandar? How do you expect a character to become popular without exposure?

Zandar made the front page, along with his 3 wavemates. Which is normal, and none of the other 3 guys got any more or less coverage or treatment than Zandar did, either. So it's not like Zandar got ignored or shunned like you seem to be implying.

Nemesis Immortal got the same treatment as well. He was just released by himself instead of being part of a wave.

He did compared to his siblings who got (and will continue to get) featured.

Okay, but that has everything to do with the fact that the site stopped posting in-hand images/galleries for every release like they used to up until around winter '23. Every other figure since hasn't gotten that treatment or in-hand photo coverage, either. It's not just Zandar that didn't get that coverage like you are insinuating.

There's no hidden motive, no conspiracy and no hidden agenda against Zandar on this site.

No worries, but just didn't want you thinking Zandar was somehow being slighted.

Ironically, I think Zarana may have been the last figure that got a full spread photo gallery and front-page article on here. The HISS Tank and Dragonfly are two exceptions though.

I'm having a tough time.Really enjoyed ARAH Zandar as a kid. Mainly because I couldn't ever find Zartan, plus felt the vague filecard opened up room for my imagination to make the character fit in my Joe verse. The accessories were limited but cool and fit the belief the 'Noks had limited resources.

This figure...I wanted it to be so much more. I get the same vibe from it that I do when I see a Lion-O figure. It feels more college theater dance revue than anarchist/terrorist. He needs a shirt--something black and a little tattered. He needs a snarl, and the pauldrons need to be removable/smaller to help his articulation.

I'll figure out how to fix him someday, once he stops looking like he's destined for the stage, rather than mayhem. (Reducing the size of the scarf--as pictured above definitely helps.)

I scored Zandar as 9.

I think the aesthetic elements of the design are all great (particularly the boots, shoulder pads and headsculpt) and I really like the overall color palette that was chosen. I do like the addition of the vest, but it would have been cool if it was designed to be removable. The fact that he can stow or hold all his accessories is also a big plus point for me.

The 2 issues that led me to deducting 1 point are :

The limitations to the arm articulation (wrist articulation is essentially limited to rotation and the shoulder pad design greatly hinders the range of motion when laterally raising his arms)

The scarf sits too high when on top of the vest, giving the figure the impression of having no neck. I found that the ‘no neck’ effect can be significantly attenuated buying tucking the front of the scarf under the vest - but this does cause the vest to bulge out slightly.
