Anyone got a pic of this near a 1:18th vehicle or figure?
HEETSEEK was probably something Hasbro could stick a trademark on or make an anagram out of but never ended up doing. High Energy Emissions Tracking Sky Engagment Enemy Killer or something lol. Last edited by sisco; 11-27-2024 at 04:27 PM.. |

I honestly like the HMS infinitely more now that the Dragonfly is out. The missile blast the effect looks awesome with the HMS. Although you can’t attach it directly, it wedges in decently on the right side and really adds to the overall look of the HMS. This thing is overlooked because it’s so overpriced but it’s still a decent set.

I gave it a 7
And I actually like it ,I preordered 2 off the get go , I feel like it?s overpriced especially w/out any blast effects or a separate control board or tablet @ the minimum , even scrap iron had some had blast effects and more @ a pet price , seemed like they were fishing w/their prices and hooked a good one on this one . I would buy 2 of the MMS in a minute as well ..

HEAT certain doesn't stand for High Explosive Anti-Tank and it also doesn't stand for IR seeking either as these are Radar Guided Missiles.
& it lacks the radar to guide them ironically. So I guess they are a Fantasy Missile system that works by Cobra space magic. Quote:
Using the poll options, rate the vehicle on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the vehicle deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.
It looses some points for the following issues : 1. The feet are hollow 2. The wheels lack the suspension the Stinger and Vamp have 3. The hitch is to weak and far to short 4. The Missiles are underscale 5. Lacks a proper separate control unit (even an Ipad like one) 6. Text only printed on one side of the rockets 7. They likely should have put the red stripe on the wheels. 8. No radar so far to guide what should be Radar Guided Missiles - yet they imply they are Heat Seekers - but are not designed to look like them Though to be fair neither are the original ones. 9. The tires can still be miss-assembled as they are on most things (on some version) I bought two one from the UK and one from Australia (likely Hong Kong stock) & one the tires were correct and one I had to invert the tire on one wheel. 10. The wheels don't drop down in deployed mode as they should, putting them in the path of the exhaust (in toy terms they bang into the blast effects). 11. Weapons storage on the figure is problematic there is not proper place to attach the gun and the fit on the tools is very poor they fall out at the slightest touch. 12. No Blast effects are included. Reasonable points I. The Sculpt what there is is fine II. The Tampographs are fine - missing in some places but what there is is fine (I don't mind the miss-spellings). III. I like that the colours complement more than one other piece in the line. IV. The Figure is "OK" - aside from the spongy tools and to short hose I also had to steam both of the ones I had to unlock his waist it was complete frozen in place as were his arms.. they were not going anywhere completely gummed up from new - so a kid is likely the snap the arm off trying to move it. So over all some QC issues, it is at least ?10/$10 over priced and the brand quality is a bit lacking in places. That said I would buy the green one too, but how many and how quickly and for how much would depend on the quality of the included figure that comes with it. Hopefully if or when they make and asp they will do a somewhat better job of it. This is "Functionally Adequate" if you have a used for it. or really like the figure - or want it to go with your tank, but is otherwise not exceptional unfortunately. |
