Yet another thing I dislike about this release, it's actually missing stuff from the original.

The old toy doesn't have straps, just a peg on the seat that you plugged the figure into. The mine had a hole on it that also fit in the peg. The idea was you could plug the mine into the seat and then program the vehicle to fly into something like a suicide drone. It's in the original instructions.



The Classified version doesn't have anywhere for the mine to go though, so it's just a weird extra that doesn't make sense.

That does seem like an oversight with the design with not having the option to plug the mine into the seat like you said the original could, and have it act as a controlled kamikaze drone.

You can plug the mine into the back of the cannon, but yeah... no option to stick it in the pilot's seat.

Just my two cents, but the Grid Iron (Flight Pod) Mech Lower set is a game changer for me! There is also a Mech Upper set and a just released Mech Armor set!
I will of course have to budget these sets because of pricing, but they look fantastic!

I'll admit, turning the whole thing into basically SNAKE Battle Armor is pretty cool. But those sets are $50 each, and I think you need to buy all three, on top of the Bubble, to make it look like that. That's over $200 altogether. Not sure that's worth it.
