Released exclusively with the HasLab Dragonfly in November 2024, Rip Cord is another classic ARAH-era character that a lot of fans have been wanting to see ever since Classified debuted. For Rip Cord's Classified debut, he comes outfitted in his Night Force colors (which made its first appearance in o-ring form packaged with the HasLab Skystriker from a couple of years ago).

The Rip Cord figure itself is mostly re-use from his fellow Dragonfly pilot, Wild Bill. He features new lower arms and hands, new waist piece and a new head though. Rip Cord's gear is also mostly re-use (or pre-use, depending on how you look at it) from the very recent 60th anniversary HALO Jumper figure.

Fans who were unable to or did not pick up a Dragonfly can probably rest easy in knowing that Hasbro will certainly re-release this figure in his classic army green and camouflage colors at some point.

Rip Cord comes packed with the following gear and accessories: a removable flight helmet with adjustable shield visor that can be moved up and down, a pair of goggles, a high-caliber rifle with removable ammo clip and removable rifle barrel, a removable oxygen mask and hose (which plugs onto his hip), a pistol, a removable and working parachute pack (that can stow gear), a machine gun with removable magazine and a removable wrist altimeter.





Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

Like the other figures, I gave him a 9. I docked a half point for the gun reuse and a half point for the lack of a parachute, since the 60th Anniversary HALO Jumper came with one. I love the helmet and Rip Cord will be fully decked out in my display.

Agree with you on everything he should have came with a chute and a fn-fal like the og did .
He looks good but a lot of reuse btwn him & WB even though it works well

I gave him a Ten. He's my favorite out of the Dragonfly figures. Hell he is probably in my top five for the year. The face sculpt is a little off but he is wearing his helmet in my display so not a big deal. Would have been nice if he came with a actual parachute but I'm using the action pilots as the crew of my Dragonfly so I have extra.

Might be tied with Wild Bill as my favorite out of this set. I never picked up the Halo jumper so all of this gear is new to me. I really love it. The helmet, mask, and goggles combo looks badass.

I thought about knocking this guy down to a 9 due to the flat face printing, but honestly, I just don't care. The rest of the figure is so good it doesn't bother me in the slightest. He also won't be showing his face in my display.

He looks incredible. Really pumped for a camo standard / retro version. Whichever route they go there.

A surprise 10 for me, The black looks amazing, love the web gear and when he is all geared out he looks great. Wish he had a rifle like the original, but I can live with the weapons he got. Also would have liked a Parachute, but I will steal the "pilot" one.
