Painted Bill's glasses and guns. I need to fix his stache. Mine is missing a lot of paint at the top.

Thanks! Used Rusto 2X Metallic Gold then built up the "lenses" using Tamiya Black Clear.

I gave him a 10. I find that the hat fits over his hair perfectly fine, so no need to swap hairpieces back and forth for me.

I don't even own him yet - but I gave him a 10. Looks perfect to me.
(I kind of wish he looked a bit more like 1980s Richard Petty - but that's a nitpick. I always considered Wild Bill to be inspired by Richard Petty) |

I gave him an 8. I think they did a great job on the figure and like how the sculpt looks. Definitely prefer the hat/hair combo instead of the separate pieces, since the hat alone looks too big.
He lost points for the guns being a very plasticy gray, which looks worse when you realize this is part of a Haslab and they should have painted them metallic (if you can do it for other figure accessories, you better be able to do it for Haslab figures which should be premium). Also not a huge fan of how his glasses fit. Definitely not as nice of a fit as Ripper, which is a shame. But where he really lost points for me is that he's got a wobbly ab crunch. Which I absolutely cannot stand and once again this is supposed to be a premium figure so I should not have a QC issue of this caliber happen for any Haslab figure. |
