Released in December 2023 as Pulse HasLab exclusive, the Cobra H.I.S.S. is the first larger-sized vehicle to come to the Classified Series and clocking in at just under 20 inches long and 11 inches tall. Hasbro also gave the vehicle a special red and black box featuring beautiful artwork that is unique for the HISS and also matches the packaging for the 788 Fire Team and HMS.

The HISS is all-new and is packed with tons of bells and whistles, including interior and exterior lighting, a rear access ramp, headlights, functioning wheels with working treads, fog lights, heads-up display, Cobra spotlight, rear convoy lights, a tow hitch, articulated joystick and operator controls, 5-point harness for driver, 360 degree working turret, working gull wing canopy (which also comes with two different choices to use, an all black "retro" canopy and a red trim canopy), cargo space, passenger seat, storage rack, rear deck, removable engine covers, removable side plate skirts and flip-down access ladders.

As bonus unlock tiers the HISS also comes with (2) removable side-mounted missile racks (each holding 6 missile rockets), removable tread skirts, (2) removable turret guns and a removable nose cannon.

Also included with the HISS are decal sheets, blueprints and instruction manual, as well as four exclusive Classified figures: the Cobra H.I.S.S. Driver, Cobra H.I.S.S. Gunner, Cobra H.I.S.S. Tactician and Retro Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander.






Using the poll options, rate the vehicle on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the vehicle deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

At the suggestion of a few HISSTankers, here is a poll for the Cobra HISS by itself. Since each figure got its own thread, this is specifically dedicated to the just the HISS vehicle itself.

I will post a thread and poll for the Dragonfly in the near future as well.

I haven't decided yet, but I think I will create a separate Classified Ranked thread for the vehicles to compliment the figure list. The vehicle list will use the same poll voting info for the vehicles that were already posted previously. I'll make sure to include new photos of just the vehicles for that thread once it goes up.

Well executed both in terms of play value and construction and it does more than pass the ?squint test? when I heard this was in the works I couldn?t wait to back it and then wait to have it delivered to my doorstep , what a fun vehicle and the amount of detail is amazing the extra add ons both classic and modern are nice but not needed , the figure were well thought out and IMO take the tank to the next level , it?s a quality piece and I?m glad to have multiples in my collection and it is amazing & a real showpiece the few people I have had over that know what I collect have even said damn that?s pretty bad ass , and that?s coming from people that don?t collect action figures .

My only nitpick if it is one is I wish it had 2 seats in the back that would have set it on a higher level to me ..

This is beyond a 10 to me. I was excited when I ordered it and was so expecting to be a little dissapointed when I had it in hand, but it exceeded everything I expected from it. About every few days I mess around with this thing still. Cannot wait to have the Dragonfly to join it.

If you're a GIJoe fan, I'm not sure how you could rate this any lower than a 10. (unless it's some sort of 1/12 scale hatred)

Especially with the figures being rated separately. I thought for a good bit to come up with anything negative enough about the vehicle to knock it down to a 9. I got nothing.

The only negative I can think of is the gull wing doors being a lil tricky to get them to sit flush. Otherwise it's perfect for what it set out to be.

This isn't a negative, more of a wish, I wish the lights were able to be plugged in to a USB or something or if they had some 6 hours on, 18 hours off type timer. I'm a big sucker for lights. Lights of all kinds. I like smart lights, LED candles, etc. I would love to be able to turn the lights on and have them on for awhile without having to continually press the button every 15 minutes.

I know most people don't give a shit about the lights, but I do, guys. I do.

Everytime I walk by mine in the evening I hit that light button and let it roll until it cuts off. Batteries still going strong.

I've only had to change mine once so far. But I be hitting that button a lot, ha.

No issues with changing batteries either. I think you reach a certain age or something when you just always have batteries on hand. At least I do. I just want to be able to run the lights for longer.
