Released as the Hasbro 1027 event exclusive in November 2024, G.I. Joe fans have been anticipating Nemesis Immortal ever since he was revealed during YoJoe June. Love it or hate it, Cobra-La makes its debut in the Classified Series with Nemesis Immortal (technically Serpentor was the first Cobra-La-related figure). Nemesis Immortal was formerly known as "Enforcer" until he was renamed "Immortal" for the 25th comic pack line in 2008 (Hasbro likely did so for legal reasons).

The figure is a work of art and features 100% all-new tooling from head-to-toe, accessories and all. The sculpt details on the figure are hands-down some of the best we have seen so far in this line, and that's saying a lot. From the snake scales on the alien crab spider creature, to his bat wings, to his organic alien armor, this figure does not disappoint at all in the slightest. Hasbro gave him a really menacing head sculpt, which is perfect for the hulking beast of a figure. Nemesis Immortal, or 'Enforcer' if you will, is one big figure and is slightly taller than Serpentor, making him the tallest and largest figure in the Classified line to date (Road Pig is a bit wider though).

Hasbro also gave the figure an alternate head, which is more alien-like in nature and features a much different sculpt.

Nemesis Immortal comes with really nice accessories too and the snake/spider alien is downright creepy and has wires inside to allow for some really cool posing options. The bat wings are removable and really help add to Nemesis Immortal's dark and grotesque features. The wings feature tons of detail and are made from a thinner plastic that allows light to show through, which is a really neat feature. The wings are also articulated with joints at the elbows and shoulder/back area, allowing for some great posing possibilities.

Nemesis Immortal comes packed with the following gear and accessories: a removable spider/snake alien crab (which can attached to a figure's back), a set of removable and articulated bat wings, (2) Cobra-La swords, (2) alternate fists and an alternate head.





Using the poll options, rate the figure and vehicle on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure (and vehicle) deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

Nemesis Divorcer! Another that could get a 12-15 score from me! So good. One small bent arm blade, but other than that no issues. Paint is amazing on this guy and I love the size. Could he have been taller, sure, but since he is taller than Slaughter, it's a win for me. I will probably lose the swords and sheathes just because the white jumps too much for me and he doesn't need them (or really hold them well).

Now we need the rest of Cobra La, starting with Pythona and Golobulus!

8. Wonderful figure! He would have benefited greatly from a better backpack attachment system plus having the thing contoured more to the details of his back. Also, wish they would have included a calf cut joint or at least some ankle rotation ala Airborne/Shipwreck.

I love the character and I really enjoy this figure. The details, colors, textures, all top notch.

However, I think his articulation could have been a bit more thought out. Design and aesthetic are top notch, but he's kind of a big hunk of plastic that can't do much when it comes to posing. Forward ab crunch in non existent (great backwards range though), he has no boot cut, and his feet can barely tilt forward (again, great backwards range). All of this combined with the heavy wings makes it a bit difficult to have him do anything but stand there. Manipulating figures into different poses and scenes is a big aspect of why I love this hobby so while I love the way he looks, I gotta dock him a few points for play value.

We also don't need trigger fingers for a character like this. I would have liked to see some more expressive hand options included instead.

Great photos DF. I know some people love that style of ab joint that's on this figure, but I hate it. I much prefer the ab-crunch style joint. I wonder if he can get more range with some modding. Usually those type joints can be modified, though it requires work that not everyone may be able to do or is comfortable doing.

I can't get over how great his face details are. Those eyes are pretty eerie looking!

It's butt ugly, and I guess he should be... but his head is too small and the wings are garbage

He’s not terrible
He is good
I love the paint apps
His backpack w/wings is okay but lacks the posability we should have gotten to begin with .
I love the green tentacled backpack/critter he steals the show the divorcers head is a bit small not a big fan of the swords or sheaths why does he need swords unless they grow back or something when they get worn out ,those were the first things to go ..

He gets a 9 from me. Paint apps on mine are excellent and articulation is somewhat decent for a big guy. After seeing what his wings looked like in preproduction shots I would've preferred that the went with that design and ditch the leg sheaths.

Well here he is with Marvel Legends Venom wings (from Venom & Knull 2-pack). Yes it works but do I recommend it, no not really. It makes him almost impossible to pose/stand, and one of the butterfly pegs snapped clean off when I was doing the swap. Fortunately it still seems to work ok.
