[Standard Issue]

I'm biased but this version of Classified Troopers is the best. I'm glad they are still available and I hope they made a ton of them.

The blue is fresh and best matches with retro CoCo and doesn't look like their uniforms been laundered through 400+ washes.

I think, and I may be wrong, but the chevrons on the brassard just indicate that they are troopers.

e.g. the design on the Stinger driver brassard shows the spider emblem, indicative that he is the Stinger driver.

That's my take away though.

There's nothing wrong with it.


It just stands out amongst every other lighter Cobra troopers
we had previously in their Lighter Blues.

I just opened a couple of these; I do like the more saturated blue even though it doesn't really match my vintage troopers (neither do the other classified troopers, though). Gave him a 7 because they really should have tooled up some new parts or used the Stalker buck, especially the helmet because the Officer head made stress marks on one of mine. Have to think we will get a Retro Officer at some point, maybe then..?

i like them a lot...i noticed that are a bit taller than the CI Troppers...
hopefully going forward the scale will stay the same... we need a taller Destro now.

I ended up buying 5 of the new Cobra Troopers. Originally got 4 pre-ordered, but saw one in store and couldn't resist. Here they are. I will probably sell off the rest of my Cobra Infantry except for the one with Stalker's webgear in this picture. I'll also keep the CI Cobra Troopers cause I like the black gear they have versus the blue vest on the Cobra Infantry. Swapped a few heads to have some variety.

Really like this one. Had to resist buying multiples. I'd like to treat this figure as an individual character and am leaning toward doing some kind of battle-damaged Scar-Face that's managed to stay alive and off-the-grid after being betrayed by Cobra - though - the other side of my headcanon pretends he evolved into Firefly.
