I passed on him. I have a lot of troopers and the blue being off would bug me to much. I passed on the retro crimson guards for the same reason.

I know it's been said before, but the CI mold was the wrong choice entirely. Would've easily bought multiples of these had they simply used an appropriate base body like Stalker or Scrap Iron that doesn't have armor plates and superfluous textures. And again, no proper Dragunov which is just baffling with how iconic it is to the actual retro design. Hopefully they do it proper eventually in the mainline or something.

Scrap Iron with a swapped upper torso (without the collared shirt) would have been perfect. I actually ordered another Scrap Iron set recently to swap some web gear around and make a custom ground support trooper for the Rattler.

An interesting thing about this Trooper is the inclusion of a Rank Designation armband. I guess they are E-4 or 5's. Depending on how the Chevrons are interpreted. So they outrank the CI and Infantry.

Ok, so what's exactly wrong with the blue color on this figure? I like this figure a lot and I'm not sure why the version of the blue they used is tripping people up?
