Okay, at this point I feel like it's been talked about elsewhere and people have seen it and care about it or don't.
I cannot abide the production stamps on his thighs. It's infuriating. It's not an error, it's not a production oopsie; everyone responsible for approving these things at Hasbro said, "Yeah, those are fine there." I'm pretty easygoing about figures in general, but something like that - so clearly visible right on the front of the figure - destroys the aesthetics. I'm still absolutely flabbergasted that the figure was released like that. He might as well have another face on his stomach. FALCON'S FACE, EVEN. That's how off-putting those are to me. Okay, not that bad, but PRETTY BAD. Someone speculated it was so they could sculpt the bottom of the bare feet, but there's a big, huge production stamp on his left foot, too. So that didn't work out. I would much rather he have had weird, flat feet than completely visible stamps on his thighs. Thank you for your time. I apologize for bringing any of this to anyone's attention.😂

Thanks for letting me know, I was looking the figure over and over and could not find a real issue, but I get what you are saying. I still don't think I have noticed and will look again tonight, but I just know all the figures are going to have one somewhere, so it really doesn't stand out to me, kind of like pegs for limbs. I prefer pinless, but it won't stop me from buying a character I like. Everybody has thier pet peeves, so I respect that. I think the floating backpacks on characters bugs me more than anything else. Guys like Bazooka or even Retro Duke, that bandolier is not holding up his poop shovel backpack on it's own. Enough rambling, appreciate the update!
Pins, on the other hand - oof. I think a pin that's a different color than the surrounding area bothers me more than QK's stamps. As in, a blue pin in the middle of the red part of Spider-Man's costume. Something like that has actually kept me from buying figures. I generally prefer pinless, but as long as the colors match it's not too much of a consideration. |

Quick Kick is great. He is a favourite from childhood. Voted 9 but he is probably a 10. My complaints are minimal. Number stamping on figure; nunchucks would prefer a chain like Mezco; and I give props for attempt with star effects but did not come out well. Again, prefer the Mezco version of the shuriken effects. Get what you pay for. The extra head could be different too. At first, I could not tell there is a difference. Works well for me to kitbash anyways. So not a huge complaint or viewed as a missed opportunity
Awesome figure and representation |
