Released in January 2024 as part of Wave 3 in Wal-Mart's exclusive Night Force assortment, Wolf Spider is an all-new character that makes his debut with the Classified series. It's always nice to see an all-new character introduced into the G.I. Joe universe, so Wolf Spider is a welcome addition to the line. Evidently he was supposed to originally be a Joe team troop-builder but then at some point was changed to become a unique, named character (Parth Varma aka "Wolf Spider"). The figure is 100% re-use consisting of Dusty (upper torso and waist), Storm Shadow (neck), Scrap-Iron (arms and lower body), Kamakura (head) and Beach Head (holster and thigh gear). Although most of the figure's accessories are also re-use, utilizing Falcon's shotgun, knife and backpack and the Alley Viper's pistol, he does feature an all-new helmet with night-vision goggles, a new mask and a rescue rope (made from actual string). Wolf Spider also features a cool new patch insignia featuring a spider on his left shoulder.

Night Force Wolf Spider comes packed with the following weapons and accessories: a backpack, a removable helmet, a pair of night vision goggles that can be attached to his helmet, a shotgun with folding stock, a knife, a removable mask, a pistol and a rescue rope.





Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

I gave him an 8. Pretty good figure, but two of the accessories were off, so I took away two points. First, the night-vision goggles are kind of loose on the peg and don't fit directly over his eyes without some fiddling. Secondly, they gave him Falcon's piss-poor shotgun, instead of Cover Girl's much better one. And I don't know why they gave him a shotgun, anyway. Some sort of rifle makes more sense for a Pararescueman.

He's fine but forgettable. I wish the night vision mask had been engineered to work with helmet. The night vision mask would him more distinctive but I feel like the he needs the helmet with the yellow pop as well.

Just got my WM wave today. I think I may give this guy a solid 9. He turned out much better than I thought. I like his gear (except for the Falcon shotgun) and like how they used a few different figures to build him. Only gripes would be that I am not too keen on the yellow deco hits (I get this was part of the original NF color scheme, but just not a fan)...I may end up repainting those spots NATO black or just black. Also would have liked his gear or belt to have a clip for the rope to attach to like the box photo depicts.

A 6 for me as well. I love the figure, but as a standalone character he needed just one more layer to the onion to make him feel unique in my opinion. It doesnt help that I know he was meant to be a troop builder.

Happy to add him to the display tho.

The Fortnite Metal Mouth has a carabiner on this pistol belt. The M.M. showed up in Ollie's just before Christmas.

If you can get a M.M. cheap to reuse his belt I wonder if a small jewelry clasp would work.

Received my wolf spiders last month or earlier mine came quick and very unexpected which was fine i gave him an 8 scrap iron base for the most part and beachhead gear and falcons bp/shotty . Like others said no carabiner or hook

I dont mind the figure because hes new he looks good with the other night force figs . I like the helmet its a far cry from the 80’s helmet look .. thnk he should have came with big bens double barrel Instead .

I gave him a 9. Overall, the figure is good. Like others have said, the shotgun was an odd choice for him, so I gave him a M4 CQB from Gridiron Studios.

I gave mine the long rifle that came with the Steel Brigade two pack. Looks good with him.
