Released as part of Wave 13 in October 2023, Low-Light had been at the top of a lot of people's lists for Classified (*note he was ranked the #1 Joe in HISSTank's inaugural March Madness tournament in 2022). Low-Light sticks pretty close to his original design, which is perfectly fine since his original design was already fairly modern looking. Featuring an all-new sculpt, the figure itself is very well-done and has a ton of details sculpted from head-to-toe, from his beanie cap to the carabiners on his belt to the zippers, buckles and wrinkles on his outfit. Featuring a fantastic head sculpt, the Classified team at Hasbro (thank you to Lenny and Tony) even gave Low-Light dark circles under his eyes to mimic him being an insomniac, a reference to the season 2 Sunbow episode, "Nightmare Assault". Also worth noting, his shoulder joint is tooled slightly different compared to the typical Classified figure too (deeper socket cuts in the shoulder joint) in order to give him more movement and range for sniping poses.
Low-Light comes loaded with the following gear and accessories: a backpack, a 5-piece sniper rifle (including a removable scope, an extended barrel, a removable magazine clip and a working bi-pod stand), a sub-machine gun with removable ammo clip, a working storage case for his sniper rifle (which can also be plugged into his backpack), a knife, a pair of removable goggles and a weather meter. Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration. Thanks for voting and Yooo Joe!!! One of my favorite joes as a kid, and the last joe I purchased as a kid, this figure is a great tribute to the original.
I have no issues with this fig. 10 |

He may be Classified figure of the year for me personally. Definitely in my Top 5. I give him a 10.

10- At first I thought he looked great but nothing too exciting, then I got in a kneeling pose with his support arm for the rifle resting on his knee and the head tilted so that the eye is right there looking down the sight and realized how amazing he is.

Another 10.
Initially I thought he looked a bit off with the sculpted torso, a lot more svelte than other figures. But once he was in hand I appreciated the design choice. He needs to be able to get in to the right shooting poses. It’s kinda funny that there is not a lot of talk about Low Light. Probably because he is a perfect figure and no QC issues, unlike his wave mate Firefly. People just like to complain more I guess. |

I notice this too, and I don't mean with just GI Joe. I think it's human nature maybe? People are more likely to be vocal, voice an opinion, write a review or leave feedback when it's a negative experience.
I think Low-Light will end up on most people's Top 10 Classified figures for 2023, and probably a lot of Top 5 lists. Definitely a 'Figure Of The Year' candidate. It's a shame about Firefly, he's great if you can manage to get a good one (or a halfway decent one and fix him like I was able to).

Dang! I was trying to guess what others were voting... 10 or 9? I guessed 9 - and now I'm the only one below 10. Sorry... I'd take it back if I could.
He's darn near a 10. Close enough that I could have gone either way. The shoulder divots are a slight deduction - but not more than a couple 10ths. |

7- He's fine. He's just kind of a boring figure in my opinion. He doesn't do much to elevate the ARAH Lowlight design and the sniper case is more of pain than cool.

But I do hope we get a Wreckage out of Firefly pretty soon. I?d imagine we will because there isn?t a lot of mileage left in Tiger Force. |

Oh there's still plenty of Tiger Force that they can do. New character would be nice but there's still some big names they can do
