Released as part of Wave 13 in October 2023, Tunnel Rat is yet another highly anticipated fan-favorite who makes his debut in Classified. Tunnel Rat is very close to his original 1987 figure design-wise, which is a good thing since he doesn't really need much changed to bring up to modern day aesthetics. The Joe team at Hasbro did a wonderful job on his head sculpt as well as the rest of the figure's sculpt. Hasbro also made an effort to actually make Tunnel Rat noticeably smaller than the average Classified figure, which is a really nice touch that fans greatly appreciate.
Tunnel Rat comes packed with the following gear and accessories: a backpack, a high-powered machine gun with removable magazine box (and articulated bi-pod), a removable shoulder holster, a removable ammo bandolier, a pair of night-vision goggles, a removable neckerchief/bandana, a revolver, a knife, (2) flashlights (which can be secured onto the backpack just like the original) and a satchel bag. Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration. Thanks for voting and Yooo Joe!!! I love this figure. He is one that I keep placing back on my desk just to admire all that he has to offer. He's also a figure that makes me want to do some photos again. It's been awhile.

He’s pretty damn cool. I love that they included his pack and flashlights.

I’m with Tanksmasher, flashlights pushed him to a ten. Solid, fun figure.

Awesome figure. Though the paint on his arms look more like tats. He's got a lot going on with his bandana, shoulder holster, ammo belt and bandolier. It can be a little much when trying to pose him.
Love that he is a smaller figure and the sculpt is amazing.

If anything, some of the tattoos could be cleaner/finer-lined. This is a solid figure. I'm not a huge fan of TR, as I think he and Shipwreck get crammed into stories to keep them popular, but the figure looks good and captures the coolness of his o-ring card art. I do wonder how he compares to a young Larry Hama.

I always thought the original card art was a depiction of Hama, but the actual original figure and subsequent figures released since never actually used his likeness (though looking at the ARAH o-ring now in my hands, it is possible the figure was too). Is the 25th Hama? lol If it is, it's a very stylized and done in a very caricature-like style.
But I'd say this new Classified figure is definitely not Hama's likeness.
