yeah that sums it up for me too. I don't know if I needed a Pack, but SOMETHING to store the other weapon for sure. And the little handle on the double barrel is so annoying.

This figure is important to me, he is only the 2nd 6 inch figure I own. It was so important for them to get this one right; close, but not good enough. I give him an 8, and I'm generous since he's one of of my favorite characters, but he's probably closer to 7.

Good stuff:
I like the muted colors, the various textures and details, it all comes together to make an aesthetically pleasing figure. His head sculpt is outstanding, a perfect combo of realism while staying true to the card art. And the gas mask/hoodie head is such a cool tribute to the classic SAS look!
Very cool guns.

Bad stuff:
His bandoliers look lame and dated. The original figure had full belts of chain-link ammo crisscrossing him and that looked awesome. This new version looks silly with the cloth/leather padding under the ammo, right out of the 19th century.
His wrist pivots are wrong. his right hand should have the up/down pivot to help facilitate more realistic gun holding poses, instead of the side to side it has. Snake eyes has the same problem. This is such an obvious, glaring error. What are the designers thinking?
The bare neck under the gas mask/hoodie is also a poor design choice.

His gear is a mixed bag. I love all 3 of the guns he comes with. However, he should have included an additional ammo clip to store in the belt pouch. The only way to fill the pouch now is to take the clip out of the rifle. Another glaring oversight. I'm also torn on whether I would have wanted him to come with more of his original gear, rather than 2 extra guns. He had one of the biggest backpacks in the vintage line, why would they leave that out? And not even include a grenade pouch?

I don't know, it is an awesome figure, but some of the design choices are just so dumb.
