The Eel looks fine, but it doesn't interest me enough to buy it. Something about the re-use of Torpedo bugs me about it. The OG Eel was "unique-er". Same issue I have with Snow Serpents. They just missed both of these a little bit... but that little bit is bad enough.

I'll give it 7, the reuse was ok but would have preferred some kind of resculpt of the gun, no QC issues either whcih was nice

I gave it a 7. I was really excited for it but I don't like the speargun with him. Also my mask won't go down on his head all the way not matter how hard I try.

Really looking forward to the Retro version they release.

I love the sculpt, paint apps, flippers, and mask. However, I would have preferred the original style harpoon weapon and scuba pack. I gave him a 9.

I'm giving it an eight. I don't think the reuse of Torpedo body is a huge issue, as overall they are both simplistic figures and you can only make a guy in a wetsuit look that much different.

Even though I put aside most of my Hasbro supplied general troop (land based) weapons in favor of Gridiron stuff, the gummy harpoon is disappointing as that is too basic of an item/design for me to shell out for from Gridiron.

I also think I have giraffe neck problems with two of mine. Maybe it's psychological or a perspective thing, but ever since I read about it before actually receiving my Eels and then looking at mine, the necks do seem oddly long when their helmets are off.
