I think they did a great job on this one and it's actually better than the original. I like the silver face mask, the unpainted mask on the original always looked cheap to me. The addition of a Cobra logo was also a much needed addition who's omission detracted from the original.

Only problems I have with this figure are carry overs from the original, and that issue is why this version even exists. Python Patrol is a stealth equipped field combat unit and Crimson Guards have no place on the battlefield, so why did they make a Python Crimson Guard at all? Also when the character is named after the color of his uniform, he kinda needs to be that color. If he isn't Crimson, how can he be a Crimson Guard? Despite this, he is a cool looking figure and I liked it despite it not making much sense.
