Oh yeah! Forgot about his shotty! I actually gave my Falcon a spare Cover Girl shotgun, as it looked more like the one on his old card art anyways. And 100% right about the weapons being needed. It's the same issue that made the Eel, Snow Serpent and Alpine feel like something was missing.

Falcon is probably 1 of my 3 biggest Classified disappointments (the other 2 being Starduster and Armored Cobra Commander). I loved that figure as a kid.

As others have mentioned, the head is terrible and the camo looks bad too. But something I would also like to add is that Recondo's legs do not work. Falcon needs generic combat boots. Outback legs/boots would be preferable but Stalker's would work too.

I realized I never voted on this figure.

After much reflection and lots of time since his initial release I give this figure a 3/10.

Judging this figure fairly harshly because it's probably the most disappointing figure in the entire line. It's also a figure I'm constantly trying to improve given how much I dig the character.

- Worst portrait in the entire line
- barely visible camo pattern (which in itself should be unforgivable given how iconic the camouflage is to his overall look.
- Terrible bendy, fall apart shotgun.
- no sidearm or additional web gear leaves him feeling lacking
- awful boots that can barely tilt forward which makes it difficult to get him into solid poses / stances.

The search continues for the perfect head sculpt. First I was using Kamakura. Then I swapped to the Night Force Falcon portrait. Then that one felt too wide / fat for the body. Now I'm using Starduster's portrait which seems to work nicely. However, with the retro Flint on the horizon and my lukewarm feelings to that portait, there may be more swaps happening in the future.

Guys with berets have had some rough entries in this line.

they all don?t unique weaponry but some more than others like what I mentioned in the above post even mutt would have been better off w/his Mac than the ugly and just as dated m-16 type weapon he did come with ..

I was just thinking about this last week and wanted to change them. The thing that really sucks is that Recondo's legs have the exact opposite type of leg/boot joint. Most figures have a hole in the leg joint and the boots are a male end/wth peg, but with Recondo the legs have the peg/male end and the boots have the hole. Really frustrating and makes it harder to customize as easily. So he definitely needs Outback's legs + boots like the NF version has whenever they redo him. Or like you said, Stalker's legs + boots would work too.

It's too bad Falcon's green w/ brown camo didn't match either regular or Tiger Force Outback. Had the camo matched, I would have slapped Outback's legs on him and the new Nightforce head on him and then he'd be a decent figure. Fingers crossed for a better Retro version.

I decided to use classic Outback's legs and boots for mine. I repainted the camo black and my Falcon's body a slightly lighter olive green, so it blends with the upper body fairly seamlessly on mine.

Whenever Hasbro decides to update him, they should be able improve on him a lot compared to the orginal #64 release.

Looks great, reshaping the neckerchief was a good call

Thanks! Yeah, I trimmed it up a bit so it fits and sits a lot better around his neck and shoulders than it did out of the box.
