Classified Vincent R. "Falcon" Falcone (#64)

Yeah, all the figure needs is a better head and a better paint deco for his camo (a slightly brighter and lighter green and some tiger stripe camo that is more pronounced) and he is actually a very good figure. I agree his head does not look as bad in-person and it actually looks decent from certain angles. I think the paint applications for his eyes and eye brows were both off and applied incorrectly (eye brows on the render were angled down more and looked way better) and only made the head that much worse.

Still crossing my fingers when we get him in his NF duds that he will have a new and improved head.

I imagine the Classified team is aware of the criticism regarding Falcon and Cover Girl's heads, so if they release other versions of them, they'll have improved sculpts.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. At least for Falcon. Cover Girl's head was not "bad" per se, at least to me it wasn't. It doesn't ruin the figure at all and was just something that maybe could have been a little better. Specifically the paint apps for her makeup.

I agree. I can't imagine them re-using that Falcon head ever again.

I presume if they do a long haired CG she'll get a different face. Long hair would look even worse on her skeleton cheekbones.

Saw someone post a mockup of Grunt and Falcon with their heads swapped, and it didn't look half-bad. I may give that a try, since Grunt looked off to me for the character anyway.

I mean, Grunt was ugly, but was he THAT ugly?? I'm kidding, I'm kidding lol I was thinking about doing that swap too, but I may just end up leaving the Kamakura head I customized on my Falcon and leave Grunt alone.

That looks good! I did a mock-up using that same photo but with their head gear on.

I go back and forth on Falcon's head. Some days I'll put the factory head on him and think, "Eh, it's not that bad." And then other days I look at him and rip that same head off and stick the Kamakura head I customized on him and say, "Much better".

Gave him a 5. Deducted points for head sculpt, shotgun stock, camo paint, backpack weight and webgear/shirt tail combo.
