I have been trying to dump my collection of 4 inch figures and it seems like no one is taking. Thought it was my prices so I adjusted those and nothing. I got army builders like poc cobra infantry and still no takers. So my question is with the 6 inch figures being big now is there still a market for 4 inch?

Prices seem to be up across the board for Joe stuff since Classified hit, maybe a renewed interest in the brand? I bought a carded Alley Viper around 2015 for about 100 dollars, and since the Classified one hit, he's about 400 dollars... even a recarded one on reproduction card is well over 100 bucks.
Vehicles, as well. The 25th line, Valor vs Venom, etc. So, it sucks that I'm rebuilding a chunk of my collection I'd sold off, but at the same time, it's nice to see there's still an interest. Personally I think it was a huge mistake cancelling the small Retro line. I don't know how well the Skystriker Haslab sold but a Rattler or Night Raven probably would have been a better jet to kick it off with. I've kind of made my peace that Classified is the future but I'm very selective at this point. I'll probably be getting the SMS though, looks great. The more vehicles we get, the more it will feel like a "real" GI Joe line. |

I gave up on ME figures and recollecting that line after the o-ring return was announced. Sold my modest collection last August as a lot - think I got around $350 for it.

I think a lot of the people who were collecting 4"/ ME for the details and not necessarily the scale jumped to Classified. It's like an amped-up ME with a lot of the propertional issues fixed.
If there's been a dip in interest, it's probably temporary. If you're not in a hurry to dump what you have, I'd hold on to it for a while longer.

I do not collect 6" Classified figures and really hope that Hasbro releases a new 4" line within the next year. In the meantime, I am waiting on the Marauder Vietnam KS. If Hasbro decides to delay a 4" line for too much longer, I am just going to make the switch to Marauder using the Vietnam KS for a lot of Joe customs. Jason |

Is there a market for 1/18 figures? 100% yes. Is there a market.for 3.75" g.i. collector joes? Again yes. Is the Market large enough to support a mass retail line and will brick and mortar retailers support such a line? I would say no.
