Looks as though they were revealed at he end of 2018, so they probably shipped in 2019.

Walmart 4"Retro came out around August of 2020. I remember having my daughter learn how to drive, while she drove me to different Walmart to hunt for figures.

I suspect if ME wasn’t cancelled then SOME people wouldn’t have made the transition to Classified. I know 6” scale is the trendy thing now but in some ways that was forced on to some collectors who feel the need to buy.

I only grab super 7. To me MOC they are perfect sunbow representation. Would have loved the 25th to have this style. Up to about 18 now. Want a small collection only the favourite characters.

So basically, what Hasbro did when the Black Series came out. Cancelled 3.75 super articulated Star Wars and left them 5POA to force people to move on to 6" or have stuff they didn't want.

It's really odd with me, because I am still a staunch supporter of 3.75" SW figures and only collect TVC (been collecting SW since 1981 and started up again in summer '95 when the PotF2 line debuted). I dabbled in TBS when it first hit for a year or so (only collected OT figures), but I quickly lost interest and dumped my 6" SW collection.

GI Joe on the other hand, was a completely different story. I had no interest in the ME stuff anymore and by the time Classified hit, I was all ready to get 6" G.I. Joe figures. I still love my o-rings, but for some reason G.I. Joe was great to see in the bigger 6" scale. Not sure why 6" didn't resonate with me with Star Wars?

Maybe it's a testament to how well-done Classified is? I really don't know.

TBS even more than GI Joe suffers from a lack of vehicles. GI Joe was fun just having the soldiers fight, but TBS has nothing. Who wants X-Wing Pilots with nothing to pilot or Boba Fett with no Slave 1?

I still don?t get the love for o ring. But I get that the lack of articulation isn?t for everyone.
