I agree.
Gonna be honest. Now is the worst time to be selling 3.75 Joes. There is a market for 3.75 figures. There is however, no world where a whole bunch of Joe fans selling 3.75 Joes to switch to 6 inch classifieds would result in high 3.75 Gi Joe prices. You are all trying to do the same thing at the same time. Their are many of us o-ring collectors that do appreciate the 6" classified line but have no desire to collect in that scale. The whole Action figure (especially as it applies to us Joe collectors) is in a weird spot. Lots of collectors moved on from O-ring to collect modern era. Some of us returned to O-ring and dumped the modern era, some went classified and with the uptick in o-ring kickstarters it seems like the Joe collecting community will continue to get fragmented. |

I fall into a weird category. Collected ARAH from '83 - '89. Got rid of those back in the '90s. Collected ME hardcore from 2007 - 2014. Then re-accquired nearly complete ARAH '82-'94 era of o-ring Joes 5 years ago, got into Classified in 2021 and then dumped my ME stuff last year.
I love and collect o-ring (all the KS stuff now as well) and Classified. But have no interest in the ME era anymore or current ME style 1:18 style figures. I guess fragmented is right!

You're not alone. I've seen a lot to like about the Kick starters. Hopefully we will see more 3.75 product in the future.

Did the Walmart 4-inch "Retro" line debut in 2019? I seem to remember them being released before Classified.

It was all loose, opened stuff. Some was more organized - some was just in big freezer bags full of random stuff. There were a good amount of FSS figures and things that were 'more valuable' than others. The way I figured - I got back a lot of the money I put into it - and it gave me years worth of enjoyment. I never collect anything for an investment... my Dad told me when I was a kid - "collectibles are only worth what someone is willing to give you for it" (I do wish I had my entire Rickey Henderson Rookie collection nowadays though! Could put my son through college...) |

I brought a bag of ME figures to Dallas VIntage Toys today to get rid of along with a lot of other stuff that I did sell. They didn't even look at what was in there and passed on it. They said they couldn't move ME figures at all.
I'm starting to wonder if Classified sucked away most of the ME collectors.
