I'm not. Retro Lady Jaye might be the most hated figure in the line. Barely any different from the original, and rotted on WalMart shelves for YEARS. If the mainline version would have come with Lady Jaye?s iconic accessories you might be right but those glaring omissions are why the retro one blows away the main one for me. The main one looks like a generic female soldier rather than one of the staples of the Joe team.

As for most hated, I think most can name 5-10 that are more hated than the retro LJ. My list would be those blackout or whatever hideous versions of Duke, Roadblock, Scarlett and Snake Eyes they did plus the 5 SE movie figures and Falcon.

She's not the most hated, but her languishing on pegs for so long is probably a contributing reason why she did not do as well on here as the main version.

People were downvoting the Eel just because he sold out and was an exclusive, so I wouldn't doubt some people down-voted retro LJ because she was a pegwarmer they resented.

I've got a pic of retro and mainline LJ peg languishing side by side. Because no one saw that coming.

LJ needed a better face sculpt, hairpiece, and physique. Frail Lady Jaye isn't impressive and doesn't really represent her personality. She doesn't need her bust popping out gratuitously, but the comic book LJ who decked Flint was awesome.

Even though the actual scores are pretty different, the main LJ doesn't that much better for her weighted score (3.176 to 2.941) and is only 12 positions higher on the chart than the retro one.

Another thing that also is a factor is the retro one only has about 50 votes while #25 has almost 70. The more votes a figure gets it helps their weighted score just a little.

Those who haven't voted, vote for retro LJ if you love her and prove that #25 is the lesser Jaye! lol

It does make me wonder who voted for regular LJ but still hasn't voted for retro LJ. If she got another 10-15 votes (assuming most were 8 or better) she probably would catch up pretty close to regular LJ, maybe even pass her.

Honestly, now that there are 150 figures on this list, 12 places is fairly close!

This has to be the best thread on this entire forum. Thanks for doing this. I find it so fascinating. The competition is SOOOO competitive. You have to scroll and scroll before you get anyone that lands below a 9. Crazy how good this line is.
