Released in April 2023 as part of Wave 11, Cover Girl was very highly anticipated since female figures in the line are always pretty popular and not as common. Using some of Lady Jaye as a base, she also has quite a bit of new tooling as well. Fans are also always split on how they want their Cover Girl to look. Some want her shorter auburn hair and some want her blonde, longer hair, which begs the question - will Cover Girl eventually get a repaint or a re-release of some sort sporting her different hair? Another hot topic with this figure was her face sculpt and whether or not it was too "done up" or too extreme or over-the-top cartoonish. This lead to some fans humorously suggesting she looked like Joan Rivers! Despite all of this, Cover Girl is still a pretty good figure and a worthy addition to the growing Classified lineup.

Cover Girl comes with the following gear and accessories: a shotgun, a pistol, a wrench and a computer tablet/data pad (which features a nice schematic of her Wolverine vehicle on the pad's screen).

It is worth noting that WAVE XI had some QC issues, rumored to be a new factory as the cause, and Cover Girl seemed to suffer the most from this. Some people's figures suffered from wonky hip and leg sockets, others had arm issues and some had figures with torsos assembled upside down from the factory.

Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

She's a good figure but I was definitely one of the people that was hoping for a blonde Cover Girl. I never liked her design change in the Sunbow cartoon. I am assuming it was done because Hasbro said "Well her figure is going to look like *this*". But to me, it just made her look kind of like a knock-off of Scarlett (in the cartoon only).

I assume we'll get a blonde version at some point later on down the road. I wonder if the team had originally intended to include an alternate and removable blonde hair piece but it had to be ditched due to budget constraints for the wave/figure?

I can't decide if I am going to give her an 8 or a 9. My first figure was the one and only Classified figure that I have bought that was broken/a QC reject (her left arm was fused at the joint) and it also suffered from a horrible socket for her left leg (it was too big and caused a major gap as well as making her leg super loose). But my 2nd figure I picked up was perfect. I think my only complaints are the lack of an alternate blonde hairdo and her exaggerated makeup paint apps. I still really like this figure a lot!

I'm giving her a four. Mine has terrible, loose knee joints and the paint apps on the face are awful. Add to that the plastic-free package with the craptacular artwork and it's a damn shame, because I liked the design of the figure... it's just the execution that screwed up.

I really wanted to love her.

She gets a 3 at best. Very loose joints, a left arm that continuously pops off at the bicep and doesn't even fit together right, makeup and a face that makes her look 60, and her torso is assembled upside down.

I've bought knockoffs with much better quality than this.

7/10. Definitely a nice-looking lady, but I'm also a blonde CG fan and swapped her head for ML Dagger. The jacket was a nice effect and the colors of the uniform distinguish her as Cover Girl while still giving her a model's figure. Good accessories and I liked the packaging even if the art was too childish for her.

6/10. Wish I could rate her higher. CG is my favorite lady from the Joes and one of my favorite characters period. I'm also a bigger fan of the blonde CG but I won't dock points for a lack of additional head sculpt. I do have to drop her rating for the head sculpt she came with. I think it is pretty unappealing and just doesn't match what comes to mind for me when I think of CG

I actually have a good looking Covergirl figure with good joints standing with the other Joes on my desk, but there's a big caveat: I had to piece that Covergirl figure together from four different figures. Two out of the four had at least one eye and the mouth printed slightly off-register (the difference between the figure looking like Joan Rivers or looking like an Eastern European model is just a milimeter here or there), three out of four figures had upside-down lower torsos, and three out of the four figures had that bicep swivel issue where the arms pops off with the slightest touch (I'm actually kind of amazed I managed to get one figure that didn't have that problem at all, because I thought it affected every figure that left the factory). None of the figures have the hair piece glued in such a way as to completely hide a channel behind the right ear, and I don't think it was designed in such a way that it's even possible.
Her accessories are fantastic.

One of the worst in Classified overall. Face, paint, QC. Just awful. That whole wave was a miss -Mad Marauders BBQ.

The problem besides the shit QC for these Windowless packaging waves.


Is the god damn face and head. It's either you love it, or
you hate it. But gosh darn, that's a lotta lipstick.

To e honest, not too thrilled about the head sculpt either.

If I remember correctly, a lot of people were saying she looks like
Joana Rivers and other people etc.
