Released in January 2022 as part of Wave 7, the Alley Viper is another highly anticipated Cobra troop builder that is a home run for the Classified series. Interesting to note, the original Alley Viper design depicted on early Classified artwork was a lot more modern and less true to the classic '89 design and very different from the final Classified figure that was produced.
The Alley Viper comes with the following gear and accessories: an assault rifle with a removable magazine clip, a machine gun, a grappling hook gun with removable grappling hook, a pistol, (2) knives, a removable helmet and visor, a backpack and a tactical riot shield. Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration. Thanks for voting and Yooo Joe!!! I'm going to give him a 10. I think my only minor gripes were he should have had a bit more blue camo on his bodysuit, especially on the back and I would have preferred his helmet was fully removable. Other than that, this figure was pretty close to perfection for me.

I gave him a 10 as well. It's one of those figures one would expect to look hokey at 1:12 scale, but nope! You know at first glance who he is. Fantastic representation of the OG figure with sensible updates to give him that "Classified" vibe.

Oh yeah an easy 10. Fantastic figure, perfect execution in 6” scale. In 1989 the first 2 figures I bought were the new Snake Eyes( I want to see that version in Classified ) and the Alley-Viper. Despite the crazy orange color, I loved the figure.

I much preferred the design on the back of the packaging.
Judging the figure on it's own merits, however there's a lot about it that's great and also few issues. The second knife is unnecessary and gets in the way, but fortunately the forearm sheath is easily removed. Loose ankles seem to be the norm with Classified Alleys rather than the exception. Also, while the mask/visor looks cool, a very little bit more material on the sides and top would better cover up the blue underneath when the mask is closed or mostly closed (it looks better slightly open). I wish the shield had a slot like the 3 3/4" figures. And as almost every review of this figure has said, the off center shin guards are weird. The lack of blue camo stripes on the back is also weird, but the backpack hides that generally quite well. I love the Vepr-12 style shotgun, and as a Mets fan, I'm happy with the color scheme, as impractical as it might be. It's a very good update of the v11 Alley Viper (itself an update of the v1 figure). I gave it an 8. |

This gets a 10/10 from me, and ranks up there with Spirit for my favorite standard figures in the Classified line.

The box was cool. I only know this because I got a movie Scarlett sent to me in an Alley Viper box.

I give him an 8. Mine had crooked shin guards and, while I like the paint apps on the figure and shield, the rest of the accessories were severally lacking, as a result. I also didn't like the knife sheath on the wrist... way too loose. They should have glued that down or moved it somewhere else.

I give it a 9. Hard not to give it a 10... but I think it's just a personal preference thing. Alley Viper was never my cup of tea. He's a great figure - no doubt - but he really doesn't do anything for me.
