Yes, if we're talking about o-ring, and the price were lower, although I prefer they just went with option b and simply made them available in sufficient quantities that anyone who wanted could simply buy as many as they like.
Classified is cool and all, but I'm not trying to army build 6" figures, especially with a line that could ultimately end up including literally hundreds of unique characters that would be a better use of space. That being said, I would like Hasbro to offer a SS that simply automatically sends you one of every figure from a line as it comes out, the preorder scramble gets old.

Hasbro doing a SS like the GI Joe Club FSS with O-ring would be fun. They've already shipped two at a time through Pulse.

I could be down for a monthly or quarterly subscription service from Hasbro, if the prices were better than $21 per figure, but not for troop builders. Troop builders should be large multipacks.
The best troop builder Hasbro ever did was the Cobra Infantry Forces for TRU. If they did that again, 1 officer (silver sigil), 1 NCO (officer mold, brown straps, red sigil) and 4 troops, AT A FAIR PRICE, they'd do well. The Officer/Trooper pack is good but overpriced and poorly ratioed. |

If whoever did this could guarantee mint cards/bubbles, I would do this for both lines of Star Wars, Joes, Indy, probably Transformers, and probably Marvel (I would end up canceling some or many of the last two). This would need to include everything: mainline, retailer exclusives, Con exclusives, everything. You cannot fail to have a complete collection if you sign up and never cancel a figure. |

No. The club FSS absolutely sucked ass. I would prefer cheaper black and white boxed troopers like they do on pulse for Marvel and TVC.

I actually agree on both counts. I'd like to see that handled by Hasbro directly, no third party shenanigans or overpriced sub exclusives- just charge me monthly and send the collection to my house w/o any BS. As Wedge suggests, all of the partner/con exclusives, everything. And you know me and opening, I'd take it in a brown paper bag. All of the artwork is nice, but it all ends up in the bin either way, so it's sort of wasted on me.

Nope. I hated the Collectors club version of this. There were many figures and vehicles that were CC exclusives that should have hit mass retail, that casual collectors, kids, and spontaneous buyers missed out on. The cost cutting measures used on the subscription figures also hurt a lot of the toys like the heavy reuse of certain heads or strange buck choices over and over to save cost.
Same thing with exclusives, especially the online and convention ones. I f*cking hate anything that artificially limits the amount of product and encourages the scalpers to mass buy up for resale, or can be abused by bots to buy up everything before a real person has a chance to. Somebody just needs to Black Major-ize Classified troop builders and crank them out in a bunch of different colors.
