Released in January 2021 as part of the second wave of Cobra Island Target exclusives. The Cobra Viper proved to be an overwhelmingly popular figure and was a major headache for most Classified fans to collect and army build. He still fetches a pretty penny on the secondary market.





Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

I give this a 9. Almost a perfect figure, to me. The only thing bad about it is the damn goggles don't stay on well. And he doesn't come with the classic rifle. Other than that, this is a perfect figure. It's a shame he was difficult to find in Target, but at least we got the three pack, which comes with some pretty nice blast effects and some better rifles.

The Viper is great. They were so hard to track down initially though lol. 9/10 for me. Would have preferred chromed face plate but otherwise a nice update to the original imo

Agree with everyone else, easily a 9/10 for me.

I gave it a 9, it's near perfection. If it had a better rifle, and didn't have the red on the helmet, and had chrome on the faceplate. I would give it a 10.

Although last night I just learned about mirror chrome paint pens. I'm going to see how well they work. I might just upgrade my Vipers and Cobra Commander with them.

I do love the figure, but I've got three nitpicks:

1) I wish it came with something like the original rifle
2) I wish the sleeves were rolled up to the biceps
3) I believe the red ribbed design on the pants could have been executed better. The way both sides terminate at the thigh cut still looks bad to me.

Dang, I'm the lowest vote so far - at 6. Sorry, he's a decent figure - I just think the design missed the mark quite a bit. I don't like the flanges on the helmet being pinched in so much. I don't like the way the padding was placed on the legs. The vest is too bulky. I want to see rolled up sleeves. Viper was always iconic - but this doesn't hit the mark for me.

It's 9 for me, few figures get 10 but there is little to nothing wrong with the Viper
