Released in July 2021, this was the Origins version of Storm Shadow and was extremely unpopular. A lot of fans really disliked his off-white or cream color scheme, so much so that he is sometimes referred to as "Dirty Diaper Storm Shadow" or "Mayo Storm Shadow". This figure was part of WAVE V of the line.


**NOTE** When Snake Eyes Origins was delayed due to the pandemic, WAVE 5 and WAVE 6 had to be shuffled around with WAVE 3 and WAVE 4 and were released nearly a year after they were supposed to be. This is why the Origins figures are numbered before figures from WAVE 3 and WAVE 4





Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

I'm giving it 5, while the movie is trash, the representation of Storm Shadow was decent, before we got the v1 figure this was our only option so I'm forgiving, even with the off-white color

I give it a five. Storm Shadow is the only decent thing in the film. His accessories are middling, though, and he doesn't even come with a bow, which is strange, since he's a better archer than he is a swordsman. Don't mind the maskless head as much as Snake Eyes, since it's accurate to the character, whereas Snake Eyes was race-swapped. The worst thing about this character is the outfit color. Like others, I greatly dislike it.

I hate the yellow, but I can't really say I hate the figure because at least it makes a good generic ninja for use with other lines.

I hate this figure with a passion. It looks like someone dipped him in urine! Yuck! Only good thing about it is the extra unmasked portrait.

I love the sculpt and the unmasked head, but the pissed on look really kills it for me. If only he was the proper color :-(

The fact that his legs are so static, plus the color, makes this my least liked figure so far in the whole line. Despite being the best actor in the role of the movie.

Another thing that docks this figure for me, though it only does so because it is closely following the film's design, is the fact that it is pretty much all just one color with hardly any other details or paint apps. Just a lot of off-white, yellowish cream colored plastic.

It's just ugly and bland.
