Released in April 2020 and again as a "field variant" in February 2021, the Joe Team's FIRST SERGEANT helped kick-off the new Classified line. Sticking to his classic look for the most part, like the other earlier releases he had some sci-fi elements that some fans were not too big on. Some also said his face was way too boyish and much too young looking for a character who is supposed to be closer to 40-yrs-old. Duke was released as part of WAVE I.








Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration.

I just don't love this design. I'm really hoping for a more classic-looking redo.

I initially resisted getting this figure because it didn't speak to me so much as Duke. I eventually bought the field variant version and I don't regret it. I really like the figure and it strikes me as one of the most underrated in the line

He gets a 7 from me, and only because of the field variant. Definitely needs the Retro treatment.

I give Duke a 6... 7 for the variant and 5 for the original. I like the sculpt and design and the lack of gold on the figure and accessories for the variant. Getting him to hold the binoculars is a little annoying, but it's a cool extra accessory and I do like the gun, although I still swapped it out for a more realistic-looking version from a Valaverse pack.

I think I like this Duke more than almost everybody. I honestly feel a new version is a really low priority for me. This is a great update to Duke that still reads Duke in every way that matters to me

I gave a 7 for the variant. I would have rated higher if he came with a helmet.

To date, still my favorite Joe Classified figure. I think I bought 10 of him to use pieces for customs. Until the weapons all flipped to more "Real" style, I was giving everyone Duke Rifles, and its still amongst my favorites. I wish they would just make that again with a different barrel. I love the gear, I love the colors I love the toy. Great figure.

It is a solid figure. Not crazy about the orange and gold colors. The repaint is better.

I think the original is a 7 and the field variant a 9.

It looks like Duke. It feels like Duke. It ticks off all my boxes that make Duke, well, Duke.

I didn't really get the hate for the figure when it came out. It wasn't like Scarlett, who was slapped with massive modernity. It's Duke in his tan shirt and green pants with some extra boot armor. It even feels a it more military than regular Duke, who looked like he shouldn't be on the front lines.

The head sculpt is a little iffy, but I slapped a ML Steve Rogers head on him and it feels even more Duke now.
