Anyone else run into this problem with their Viper 3 Pack?

A few people have received that. Oddly mine was correct.
I wish Hasbro would send out replacement necks like Yamato sent out replacement shoulders for the Garland.

A part that is capable of being removed from the figure doesn’t mean it’s supposed to be removed as part of its play pattern. The arm color is irrelevant because the wrist guards are part of the figure design. They are removable in the same way the head is removable — you can do it but that’s not what is intended in the play pattern.
This should be obvious but even Yojoe.com removed all the removable belts and vests for the modern era figures as the main image as if they are separate accessories like guns and backpacks and aren’t part of the figure itself. They are intended to be part of the figure and are a necessity of production to reuse base parts. |

For the same reason Hasbro product photos always have errors across all of their lines — the photographers don?t know what they are doing otherwise you would have a bunch of official third transformations for transformers with all the mis-transformed figures in the official product photos. But the toy breakout next to it on the back doesn?t show the armbands as a separate accessory.

No, your comprehension is what?s broken. I said the skin tone doesn?t matter because the figure has arm gauntlets covering them which aren?t part of the play pattern of the figure any more than popping the head off is.

If you weren't mean to take the arm guards off to display with rolled up sleeves, what would be the point of having any kind of skin tone underneath them?

I like variety so I wanted to display a few without the arm guards. This was something they screwed up on. However, the screw up kinda worked out since I was doing this with one of them and the skin tone on the Cobra Infantry head is darker anyways.
I do like a little variety in my troopers. Even my Cobra Troopers have some variety Even made one a Cobra Invasor kitbash. Point is Hasbro screwed up on the product. The arm guards are designed to be able to be removed if you want to remove them. However, the issue isn't big enough for me to return the figure as I just will display them with their arm guards. I have the one sniper guy without arm guard so I'm happy with it.
