Interesting that this came up, as I was recently updating my groupings. My Joe Team is split into 3 sections: AFO Recon Teams, Direct Action Assault Teams and Operational Support. I change the rosters all the time. I place the SEALs in their own team as well.
These are the current Recon Teams: Alpha Team: Duke, Scarlett, Roadblock, Snake-Eyes, Breaker, Spirit Bravo Team: Stalker, Recondo, Muskrat, Tunnel Rat, Hit&Run, Recoil Charlie Team: Falcon, Gung-ho, Crosshair, Outback, Dial-tone, Pathfinder Delta Team: Beach Head, Leatherneck, Ripcord, Low-Light, RocknRoll, Rampage |

Thanks for this positive feedback. My joe customs tend to be on the more grounded side and I know that is not for everybody. I do allow for my Cobra's to be a bit more Sci-fi. I'll share more of my stuff soon.

Main 5 special ops squad
Flint Stalker Snake Eyes Torpedo Spirit Support/firepower Lowlight Rock n Roll Flash Reserve Snow Job Recondo Dusty There are deadlier joes than my reserves, but these are my favs. And dusty's secondary skill of refrigeration and air conditioning was a must have. |

I tend to like the earlier members of the team. Duke, Scarlett, Gung-Ho, Snake Eyes, Stalker and Breaker.

Looking back at my play style as a kid, I realized I was all about the OG Vietnam LRRP team. And, of course, by that I mean a couple of good guys for casualties but mostly Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow working together while Stalker narrates the whole thing.

Whoever I grouped up were usually going against the Dreadnoks, who were a serious threat rather than comedic fodder. It was usually a squad of five. Flint took lead, Snake Eyes and Scarlet could go toe-to-toe with anyone, Rock & Roll laying down heavy firepower, and last but not least was usually Stalker or Low-Light. It depended on if I wanted a sniper or not.

I didn't have a lot of the old school joes so my squads always came from the later figures. Outback(v1), Muskrat(v1), Dusty and Sandstorm (v3), Duke (v3) usually field leader, with either Lifeline tagging along for rescue missions, or swapping out with Sci Fi or Rock N Roll (v2) for major covering fire.
