If you want to catch up on Wave 1 figures, the best bet is to monitor eBay lots. Many people sell big groups of figures for reasonable prices.
Some figures you just won't be able to get, but you should be able to build up most of the mass release figures for not much over retail.

Don't expect a good amount of these to be easy to find at original retail prices. I just started collecting in October of last year. I picked up some of my favorites that were in stock and even paid slightly over retail for a few since they were impossible to find any other way. Still are months later except for Heavy Artillery Roadblock that Amazon suddenly got back in stock. Places to check for new stock or preorders regularly are Target.com, Entertainment Earth, Big Bad Toy Store, Amazon, Walmart, Dorkside. Some people have luck checking in physical stores but I never have. |
