What do you personally think of the five-points-of-articulation G.I. Joe figures from the Re-Action toyline?

The cards are appealing, but I think the figures are terrible. And the price tag of $17.99 each is just way too much for what you get.

I got pretty badly beaten up on here two years ago when I did a design of card backs without the shitty multiple languages. People stated that hasbro couldn't do the card backs the old school way. Well, super seven did it. and did it well. The packaging is amazing. The figures aren't what we want. Less articulation? I think they couldn't do it because it would compete with the current o-rings. The price is out of wack too... I would buy them if they were $5 (canadian).

Package looks fine, but the figure kills it for me. If I can't pose it while I'm stuck on the phone, I don't see the point.

The card art looks nice. The figures themselves are awful. I wouldn't buy them if they were 99 cents each

Hard pass. Not my thing. Seems silly to make "retro" style figures when o-ring would fit the bill (I don't collect oring anymore).

I bought a grand total of 3 because those characters in those appearances aren't currently available at normal retail price. I passed on other characters seen discounted deeply for clearance due to crude 5POA.
If Super7 ReAction made a Quick Kick, I'd have to buy since it doesn't look like Hasbro will sell a new o-ring redo and no signs of Classified. |
