I do my best to pick and choose. I support Hasbro products made in Vietnam, for example, and I paid more for a TV just because it was made in Mexico rather than China. And I will not buy Hiya, JoyToy or any number of other unnecessary shit that's from a Chinese company because I don't have to.

I'm talking about just the aesthetic. The actual Vintage 5 POA may have been primitive, but they had sculpting detail and other little touches. The new stuff just mistakes softening up the sculpt and the details for achieving the same look. Compare a Retro Han Solo with a Retro Mando figure or a ReAction to see what I'm talking about. The Retro Han is softer than a vintage, but still sharper and more detailed than the really fake-retro stuff.

I actually remember once saying "they should redo new figures in the vintage style... I'd like to see what a fat, 4 armed Grievous or Darth Maul would look like had they been made in 1980". Now I'm regretting that lol...

But really I don't mind, just do them equally. If you're going to make Fennec and a Death Trooper in Retro style, toss us a TIE Pilot or AT-ST Driver in that wave. I guarantee a peg full of Retro Greedo would move faster than, say, Retro Greef Carga.

For sure. I would've been satisfied if they'd just done a Retro ROTJ wave to finish out that original run.
