I received my Cobra Officer and Cobra Trooper yesterday. The Cobra Officer also does not bend his knees fully. The same problem with the backside of the knee being too thick.
It's fun seeing them side by side with the original ARAH Cobra Officer and Cobra Trooper. The new ones have more of a matte finish. The paint application is really nice. The Cobra logos look great. The stands are thinner than the vintage. And they have a neat texture on the top of them. |

Hey dudes I hope I’m not the master of the obvious here but I used boiling water to correct the officer’s knee bend. This method requires no alteration to the figure.
Heat a pan of water to boiling and then put the fig in up to his knees for about 10 seconds. When you take the fig out the plastic will be very soft and flexible. Bend the knees to 90 which pinches the material in the joint and remolds it because of the heat. Next give the Officer about 4 hours of timeout in the freezer to think about what he has done. Finally take him out and let the plastic come to room temperature which should take an hour. After this is done the fig will have full motion of his knees and you didn’t need to modify the fig. After looking at the fig I think the real issue is there is not the small gap behind the knee where the thigh piece meets the foot and knee. Trooper, SE, and SS have the gap and that gives the parts room to move. Last edited by Dusty Ayers; 07-01-2022 at 09:27 PM.. |

**Ding ding**.. winner! They didn't add the gap on this guy for some reason. Hopefully just an oversight.
