That would be an awesome end to this year to be able to score the TOD wave. Plus, my oldest boy wants these figures as much as I do.

If you want loose figures, the Temple of Doom wave is pretty cheap on ebay from China based sellers.

I can't substantiate this, so take it with a grain of salt, but... I picked up a few Hall of Heroes BATS and Vipers and the nice old lady who checked me out said that the Joes have been incredibly popular with boys this season. As a result, She also told me to come back later because they're getting in tons of them.

I've seen those but I've read that they don't come with all of their accessories. I want them on the card and my boy wants all of the accessories. It is tempting just to get a loose Short Round though.

After reading this thread, I realized I'm still sitting on a carded Temple of Doom Temple Guard. I'll part with it for $5 plus $4 shipping (to US) if anyone is interested.

Anyone in Tennesse near the Bristol TJ Maxx? I'd like to know if they've gotten anymore in the way of Joes before I make the trip out there.

At Marshalls picked up series 1 of combat heroes for 2 bucks a pop...figured why not for that price, actually like em. Thinking about getting the 2 other series, they look good next to the regular figures. A nice contrast of styles. ROC desert viper for 4 bucks, and python patrol crimson guard and trooper for 2 dollars a piece.
Also got comic two pack of beachhead and dataframe and hard master and snake eyes for 6.99 a piece, and a mighty muggs cobra commander for 6 bucks all at TJ Maxx. |
