Last days of 2021. This year flew by. We had a banner year for GIJoe. What was your favorite memory of 2021?
I'll go first - My favorite memory was searching all around from Middle Tennessee thru Birmingham for the elusive Major Bludd. This spring, before he was even announced - people were finding him... so the hunt was on! Best figure of the year, imo. (I never did find him on that trip) |

Gotta be the Haslab Skystriker watch, particularly the last 1-2 weeks. That thread was an absolute riot.

I'd have to second the Skystriker watch as it finally got funded with almost all the unlocks as the best GI Joe moment. I seriously didn't think it would happen even though I backed the full amount.
I think all the stretch goals would have been met if so many people didn't wait until the last minute to pile in like it was an eBay auction. The outcome beat my expectations so it was satisfying anyway. |

Yeah, the Sky Striker is a no contest winner in my book, though as you say, this was a banner year. The best parts (outside of the thing actually funding) were watching all of the naysayers go silent as the end neared, and on a personal note, being able to help spread some Joe love across the globe, and watching other members of our little community do the same.
All around great year though- I can't think of another in my time here that has had so much going on. Hell, two years ago, this place was nearly dead, reduced to practically just the LNC guys and myself making dick and fart jokes all day. It now appears as though Hisstank is back. 2021 has been excellent for the Joe community.

What a year! We had a movie (that wasn't TERRIBLE, just not great), Classified was great, and we got 100% new ME figures. The highlight for me though, was the announcement of the return of o-ring. The Skystriker last day watch itself is a very close second. Interest in the brand is the highest it's been in almost a decade and I couldn't be more excited!

For me, it was getting to see the supply and distribution woes for Classified get largely ironed out. We even got 2nd shots at some of 2020’s hardest-to-find figures. I also like that the line shifted more toward ARAH designs. I still can’t believe we’re getting that upcoming Spirit! Crazy. Now I need Bazooka with a stupid look on his face…haha…

My favorite moment was definitely the Haslab Skystriker announcement. I never thought in a million years we would see a new oring figure from Hasbro.
I will never forget that I left the house to go to a hot wheels show after the Classified portion thinking I don't do retro so now need to watch. I was just listening while I was in the car. Then I couldn't believe my ears and started yelling F yeah in the car as the announcement came in.
