This was just revealed for the Marvel line. Dang, I never realized how much I wanted to see 'normal clothes' action figures. This just looks really cool to me.
I want a three pack of Rock n Roll, Clutch, and Breaker - complete with a Bel Air Station Wagon with surfboards on top. Last edited by captain mal; 02-08-2023 at 10:19 PM.. |

For a few days, Amazon had Marvel Legends The Hood for $9.99. The head could be a Quick Kick or Storm Shadow. I think the pants are army green. No idea if the head peg is a perfect fit for Classified heads.
The only "street clothes" version I'd be interested in is tiny bikini Baroness from the Gamesmaster island episode. |

I think too much of that could cross the line from a known action figure to "what the heck is this?".
I'm sort of a purist though. I don't like many variations of my favorite characters. It's probably why I gave up collecting GI Joe after 1990. |

Hahaha The terrific thing is, this gibberish post is right at home on these boards.

As a kid, I used Fisher Price Adventure People for plain clothes/civilian figures. Most often the poor souls played the role of hostages. Every now and then they would get upgraded to a d-list villain group.

Some of the ML bodies work good with the Joe heads to make "street clothes Joes"

Going along with this theme, in another of the Marvel issues Destro & Cobra Commander were in disguise for some reason; a two-pack of these two characters in civilian clothes would work as well. |

If you're into 1/18 scale, you can come a long way with BFS/MTF/FMF parts. I've been putting together civilians with excess figures and spare parts, and I'm up to about 20 now. Don't know what i'll ever do with them though, but it's fun just doing sone non-military "customs"
