I hope they are going with softer hands like 1997-2006 releases.

They definitely are, and also feature silicon o-rings, which in theory could last a lifetime if not abused.

I can respect the preference for pure repros, for sure.
Based on the feedback so far, my new opinion is that Hasbro should begin by doing straight reissues across the board, except maybe the OG13 characters who reused heads. But since many of the characters who would be candidates for new heads are popular characters who should reappear in the line every few years, characters like Scarlett and the Baroness should get revised versions the second time they come around. So, straight repro 1983 Scarlett next year, then when you want Scarlett back on the shelves for people new to the line a couple years later, mix it up and give her a new head. |

I’m always interested in color variants.
One character that comes to mind is Destro simply because every version after the first and second tried to put some kind of expression on his face. I want the original Destro with the straight up metal mask as opposed to a face covered in fluid metal or some shit. Shipwreck would be another I really want. Beach head as well.

I just thought of one, don't tar and feather me. But the old school Battle Gear Accessory packs! But in the correct colors. Extra gear for the new O-Ring figures, and maybe even gear to complete the old vintage figures too! And stands, lots of stands.

I'm for faithful recreations of the original figures, but with subtle improvements like holes in Scarlett's feet and... well, maybe that's it. Once we get a nice run of those going I would love to see things like Billy, Kwinn, the aforementioned Dr. Venom, a full Oktober Guard; basically any of the characters from Sunbow and Marvel that I wanted when I was a kid.
I also want troop builders of varying ethnicities like Super 7 is producing. Females, too. So I pretty much want the possibilities of the Super 7 ReAction line, but in o-ring form. |

Having grown up in the original big GI Joe era I looked down my nose at 3.75 inch O-ring figures. I was on active duty in the army at the time and my nephew wanted the new GI Joes for Christmas. I bought him several at the time wishing I could find him a real GI Joe like I had. I actually pitied you young children because I grew up in the world of Louis Marx playsets and BIG ken killing, Barbie slapping GI Joes! Fast forward to 1994 and the commemorative collection with the mail away Colton figure and I took a second glance. Since then I have bought a bunch of the new stuff each time hasbro did a restart and have generally settled on 1/18 scale because of the cool vehicles 21st century toys and others came out with. Soooo, I wouldn’t mind seeing the 1994 commemoratives redone along with Joseph Colton and GI Jane the combat nurse in Vietnam era gear. (And before anyone suggests it, I am already backing the Vietnam Kickstarter by Marauders) Anyhow, I’m hoping they keep old Joe going into the next generation.

Definitely need a lot of un produced figures like Scarhead with black panther and Dawn Mereno. We also need figures we got but not in O-ring like Pythona, Dr Venom and Bench press. These are just to name a few
