I would buy V2 Snake Eyes and Timber in a heartbeat.

With the move in production to Vietnam I know we're looking at new tooling for pretty much everything, but I'd kind of like to see if Funskool has any useable molds left. We know they're still using (or recently have been using) the OG VAMP mold. "From the Original Tooling" could be a fun blurb on a box.
I am less interested in figures that were 100% complete but repaints during the 1997-2006 period (like Torpedo, Roadblock, Firefly) but would love Doc, Snake Eyes V2, Airborne. I would really like new-to-O-ring figures from the "newsculpt" or modern eras or media. In another year or two, I would be OK with "fixing" headsculpts of already released figures with better paint apps and detail. |

My request would be to (a) change them enough so they are easily distinguishable from the original... more distinct facial features is enough. And (b) add some new characters to keep diehards like myself interested. Wayne Ruthel, Cobra Snake Pit Crew, Pilot Scarlett, and NF Ripcord are all very welcome!

I never thought of it but, yeah. You're right. They actually all look kind of bored. And slightly disappointed.

I'm not an o-ring purist in the slightest so I don't really have a dog in this race. But for those of you who want even slight modifications, I'm curious what you'd say to them updating the head/neck construction on 82-84 figures? They're clearly not doing that for the Skystriker figures or SS/SE 2-pack, but who knows what's on the table for the future of the line.

Just thought of three figures they could make, that would be easy repaints for the most part. Duke (before they updated to the 92 version), Scarlett and Lady Jaye from the DiC cartoon. Scarlett and Lady Jaye would need new heads though.

I get the feeling that a lot of the issues I have with the original head sculpts are the result of cost saving measures in the original mold tooling, or so that a removable helmet doesn?t look comically large on the figure. |

I think everyone would buy this and probably even the classified collectors and modern collectors would jump at it. everyone knows V2 Snake Eyes is the greatest action figure ever made!! Im almost certain they will make it. its easy money for hasbro

I hope the standard of materials used remains a decent quality when moving to Vietnam. |
