I just got these two figures. Snake Supreme CC from eBay and Baroness from Target online (yeah they sold out right after lol).

They both have defects. Cobra Commander's helmet is on very crooked. He's supposed to be the supreme version so he should be totally on point. It's really bad.

Baroness's glasses are defective. They're deformed with one side round and one side oval and you can't even see her eyes. Neither are appropriate for display IMO. I've seen many pictures and videos of both, and most looked decent unlike mine.

So my questions are, is there a way to remove Cobra Commander's helmet and Baroness's glasses without doing more damage? I could easily reglue CC's helmet straight, and I could get 1/12 glasses for Baroness on eBay and paint them like the original and it may even look better. Already got some picked out.

Maybe no one knows the answers to this but it's worth a shot. At this price point these figures shouldn't have major flaws get past QC.

Interesting, I also got a baroness with crooked glasses I ordered a few weeks ago. It’s unlikely, but I wonder if there’s a chance they held back Baronesses with poor QC until this second round of sales. I don’t have any tips because she’s still in the box, but a sharp hobby knife and 1/12 glasses sounds like a good start.

My Baroness doesn't have crooked glasses, but they're not see-through and are deformed. I mean you can't see her eyes at all they're severely lopsided in shape. Maybe warped is a better word. I'll have to post pictures to really explain how bad it is. It's like they had a defective batch of glasses come out of the mold and decided to let them pass.

Target had Baroness in stock for a minute this morning and I was able to order another one. Hopefully it'll look more like the pics and videos I've seen.

I thought about heating up Cobra Commander's head to see if it'll loosen the helmet up so I can twist in in place. Knowing my luck it'll melt lol.

I did this with an old school 1984 Baroness to remove her hair and put it on a better head. It was still kind of hard to pull off.

All the Cobra Commanders have had serious helmet problems, usually with the "prongs" in the front. The Regals and SS versions are no exceptions. I got lucky with my first Regal order, but it took three tries at SS to get a decent one (thankfully Pulse has been stocking this guy off and on).

I've been comparing mine to a bunch of eBay pics and youtube videos. Mine is the worst I've seen. The point of the helmet in front at his forehead is off to his left and doesn't line up with the crease of the mask. It just looks really bad. A tiny amount would be acceptable. I have the first version CC and his helmet is on perfectly straight. He's awesome.

Have you seen SS for sale on Pulse recently?

Yes, I believe SS was on sale again when they revealed the Cobra officer on 10/27.

I'll keep an eye on it. Target has Classified figures buy one get one half off right now. Wish I knew that when I ordered the other Baroness this morning. Preordered Outback and picked up Barbecue for the deal.
