I know everyone is on the Classified kick and excited about new O-rings, but I thought I'd ask..
I've have re-entered the collecting scene after a 20 year stint, so I missed out on a lot of stuff. I was following the Pursuit line when they started to hit racks and although I was broke at the time, I really wanted some of those figures. Lately I have been eyeing carded and loose figures from the line and am surprised to see they all hover at the $40 range, even loose! What's up with that? What is a good price point to pay for something like a Firefly or Beach Head or something? |

You kind of answered your own question:

There's also a guy on here with a huge inventory list that he's liquidating, and he has some complete figures on there for reasonable prices. Good luck, HM

They are just awesome figs. I personally consider them to be the pinnacle in Joe figs of the modern lines.

They’re generally well made, by some hardcore fans who were working there at the time. They’re also pretty much the end of the modern Joe line. And lots of lapsed collectors are going back for them.

I still have a carded firefly. It was a cool line because they were kinda ballsy with the designs, and it kinda worked

Several reasons:
1) Very well sculpted and detailed figures. Probably some are definitive versions of certain characters 2) Scarcity. The distribution on these was so damn wonky. I remember in my area wave 1 lingered and most waves were blink and you miss it if they even came because of peg warmers preventing restocks. Figures were found in places like Ross as a result. |

PoC/30th/50th were amazing figs....that's my biggest regret when I got rid of all my ME figs. Truly amazing figures - great design and accessories.

I was in a similar boat earlier this year when I started collecting. Every figure in my signature was acquired in that time span. I've payed anywhere between $15-$40 for figures.

What he said. Personally, the POC/30th figures are some of the best 3 3/4” figures ever made. The sculpts, details, and accessories are amazing. The SE figure with Commando and visor style head sculpts is beyond incredible. The Cobra Trooper, Vipers, Beach Head, Sci-Fi, Low-Light, Life-Line, etc. are incredible toys! Hasbro was really on a roll with those lines.
