Released in March 2024 as a Pulse exclusive in a new vehicle assortment, Clutch knocks off one more OG13 Joe member off the Classified to-do-list and comes packed with one of the more classic and iconic Joe vehicles, the VAMP. Clutch is almost entirely re-use (uses Outback's body) but does feature a new head, new web gear/vest and some new accessories too, though he does still have some re-used gear. His new head sculpt is full of crisp details including his trademark beard and looks stellar. Couple that with his new and nicely sculpted web gear/vest and utility belt, Clutch still looks unique and mostly new. Of course the big "accessory" that is all-new and a pretty big highlight of this set is the all-new VAMP.
Clutch comes packed with the following gear and accessories: the VAMP (Multi-Purpose Attack Vehicle, which also comes with (2) removable ammo cans with bullet belts, (3) removable sets of lights, (2) removable handle bars), a removable helmet, a shotgun, a shovel, a wrench, a pistol, a removable Steel Brigade-style helmet, (2) gasoline jerry cans, an axe and a fire extinguisher. Using the poll options, rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a total miss and a 10 being plastic perfection, based on what you feel the figure deserves. Ratings should take overall design, sculpt, paint apps and paint deco, accessories and articulation into consideration. Thanks for voting and Yooo Joe!!! 8. Really 8.166
Based it off of the following criteria I use for all figures: Base Score Fresh Out of the Box: 9 Could be bigger but it's impressive on its own and the size probably won't matter as much with what we realistically will get at the 1/12 scale. Sculpting: 8 Looks great but the turret on the back could be handled better with possibly a place to tab the ammo cans into on the turret and bigger peg for the attachment to the VAMP so it doesn't get knocked off as easily. Also a two plug system for the guns like we see for the snap on accessories on the front would keep them more secure. CLutch is great sculpting wise. Accessories Score: 8 Clutch is loaded out but every thing feels soft. I'd prefer the alternate helmet be an alternate head because I haven't found a head it feels fully secure on and its looks a little big next to the Steel Corps helmets. Bang for Buck Score: 8 Really great for the price but also significantly smaller than McFarlane's Batmobile which while technically 1/10 was closer to true 1/12 scale. Articulation Score: 7 Standard articulation for Clutch but the turret doesn't always stay together when moved and the wheels wobble when rolled. Appearance Score: 9 Overall a great looking set with just a few personal cosmetic grievances.

7. The VAMP body itself is fantastic and has me really looking forward to The Stinger. However, they TOTALLY $hit the bed with the cannon. It was a very obvious afterthought. If Lenny et al are going to screw up "real world" guns THAT much I would have rather have had a laser canon...actually...I would have rather have had a laser canon anyway. LOVED the OG on the ARAH vehic.
Clutch is nice figure. Nothing fancy but the Outback buck works really well. I would have preferred Rock N Roll's boots because, their design seems more ARAH to me. I absolutely LOVE the inclusion of the SB style helmet. I hope they give every figure (that makes sense) one of these bad boys.

I'm just going to throw a hopelessly biased 10 at this thing for all the fun I had playing with a Classified-scale VAMP last weekend. It's not perfect, but I think it's a must have if you're into Classified and ever made "vroom, vroom" noises while scooting a vehicle across the floor before.

Easily a 10 for me too and just an all-around great toy presentation with Clutch and the VAMP. I haven't found any major faults with it and couldn't think of a good enough reason to give it less than a 10.

Easy 10 for me, once you figure out how the ammo drums actually fit lol! There is not a single thing I do not like about this toy or Clutch. I am glad I bought 2 of them. It is such a fun vehicle to display or play with. I am looking forward to how Hasbro can utilize this mold down the line; bring on the Stinger, Vamp Mark II, etc.

I gave it a fat, unapologetic 10. Opened one with my son yesterday (reminiscing on Christmas of '82 with my father and my introduction to ARAH). The details are amazing, especially the extras/updates - and the fact that it has an accessible engine i.e. a "middle." The paint is clean. Clutch is definitely Clutch - LOVE the fact that he's on the Outback buck. While the weapons aren't as "stiff" as I'd like, they're definitely not the bendy shit we were getting a while back. The only issue I had was that all the tires were on the same side, so just pushed the hubs out and switched them to the reverse. After hitting the ammo belts with some heat (which I'd already done to loosen Clutch), the boxes lay flush against the tray underneath the .30cals. I don't disagree that it would've been nice to have them clip in somehow, but it's not a big enough issue to dock any points.
Wholly agree with Firm's point on the Steel Brigade buckets. The more the merrier. While I'm not using it for clutch, I'm hoping it fits the upcoming 60th Action Soldier who'll be riding shotgun.

More the merrier but I want them to be alternate heads instead of actual helmets. Clutch's is loose on his head and it's laughably loose on the Wolf Spider's Head so I'm not really enthusiastic about it on Night Force Shockwave now.

I don't disagree, but then it's the fun game of "Gee, what size is this barbell peg?" So that's not necessarily a "fix" either. But if it winds up being loose on the Action Soldier, I'll just pad the inside with some gray plumber's tape until it's snug. Have you tried Clutch's SB bucket on mainline Shockwave? Are we sure the bucket with Shockwave is a "helmet" and not an alt. head (legit question as I haven't seen anything yet - but might've missed it)?
