It's weird how the actual toys kind of get the least respect. We always want them to be "cartoon accurate", or "comic accurate", etc. But we never expect a cartoon or comic to be "action figure accurate". Personally I'd love to see a movie, cartoon or comic that looked like the Toy Soldiers: War Chest game did.

I'm reminded of some of the older He-Man and GI Joe illustrated books that actually did make the characters look more like the figures than the comics or cartoons.

This one was drawn by Ron Rudat, and Destro looks like the toy (so does Cobra Commander):

Even the designs like this give a real 70s Bond vibe.
