Love that Cobra Commander figure. But the Duke Jetpack is thin hollow trash. |

This is why I always say I wanted Hasbro to reissue every figure from 82-87 and why I was 100% on board with the now ended o-ring relaunch, Skystriker Haslab, and Transformers crossovers. I want to replace my brittle, yellowing vintage figures.
Ash from evil dead 2. Jack burton. Kyle reese. Terminator. Hudson from aliens. Rocketeer. O-ring tmnt and casey jones. |

They really didn’t do any fine tuning of the figures. Cobra Officer’s decreased knee bend being an example, Scarlett’s crossbow not having a handle being another. It showed that they were done with O-ring once the Skystriker HasLab funding period was finished.

Wouldn’t it be great if an announcement like this happens then S7 follows up and says they have the first wave done and they are up for sale right now?

Yeah, I was hoping that the success of the Sky Striker would have spurred on more love for the O rings.

Hasn't hurt Star Wars 3.75 or 6 inch doing different aesthetics.
Plain old "vintage" O-Ring bombed coming back. If there are some who only want vintage then they should look for the originals or the late 90s/early 2000s re-releases. Also - let's face it, the many O-Ring fans would bitch anyway the moment they deviated from 82-85 figures so that's even less of a less of a fanbase. The o-ring fanbase at this point is smaller (though devoted) but they?re also quite finicky. I?d be surprised if we see different aesthetics in the line even if they?re pulling from very different sources. We didn?t see an aesthetic difference in reaction between toy, comic, or cartoon based figures.

Oh come on. It wasn't a re-launch, it was an anniversary package. Exclusive to Pulse. The only 2 pack that didn't sell a ton was the Duke and Cobra Commander set, and that was because of the shitty Duke. The CC was the best o-ring figure of the last 20 years of not longer. The one vehicle offered on Pulse sold out. We dubbed the first Joe Haslab. The only failing was them not offering us enough.
